Sunday Club for children aged 3 years old to Primary 7 meets in our halls following the Children’s Time – all children welcome! If you have younger children, feel free to stay in church with them, but if you need to leave, the Welcome Area at the main door is available.
Tuesday Service: Please note Karen is at school and will be late, so don’t come before 11.30 am. There will not be a service on Tuesday 17th October as Karen will be on annual leave.
The Neighbourly will meet on Wednesday 11 October at 2.15pm in the Small Hall. Shona Jenkins and Lorna Morrison will lead the meeting in preparations for the Poppy Installation. All welcome.
The ‘Churches Group’ Men’s breakfast –Saturday 14 October, at Wetherspoons in Cambuslang. We start at 8.30-8.45am, each person orders and pays for their own breakfast. We eat, drink and chat till around 9.30-10am. All are welcome.
Stamp Appeal: Thank you to all who have been collecting used stamps for the Church of Scotland stamp appeal. I have delivered the stamps to the Presbytery office where they are picked up. This year’s appeal is helping the Central Church of Africa Presbyterian [CCAP] to create youth employment, improve nutrition and mitigate the effects of climate challenge.
Please continue to bring your used stamps to church to benefit our brothers and sisters in Malawi. Hilary
Tear Fund Thank you to everyone who leaves “pennies” in the collection jar. The recent amount came to £19.20, amazing how pennies turn into pounds!
