Whose we are, and Whom we serve
The Guild meets fortnightly on Mondays at 2pm between the months of October to March.
Its aim is to “invite and encourage both men and women to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and to enable them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action.”
We follow the strategy set by the national church and our latest theme was “Living Stones”.
Last session, we chose to support the Scottish Bible Society’s “Bibles for Bairns” initiative.
We are a small friendly group who enjoy hearing various speakers and entertainers, as well as enjoying a cup of tea and a blether!
This summer we reinstated our summer outing – the first since 2019 (pre-covid).
GUILD PRAYER
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for loving me right where I am. Help me know Your love deep in my heart, and enable that love to flow from me to those with whom I am in contact.
