Sunday Club for children aged 3 years old to Primary 7 meets in our halls following the Children’s Time – all children welcome! If you have younger children, feel free to stay in church with them, but if you need to leave, the Welcome Area at the main door is available.
Tuesday Service: Please note there is no Tuesday service this week.
Kirk Session will meet in the Morriston Room on Tuesday 17th October 2023 at 7.30p.m.
Prayer Request Please remember in prayer Rev Muriel Pearson, currently in Israel. Many of you will remember that Muriel is the sister of Libby Milton, Rev Leslie Milton’s wife. Remember Muriel & all those in the middle east at this very difficult time. An email from Muriel (sent via Presbytery) is on the notice board in the welcoming area.
The Guild will meet on Monday 16thOctober at 2.00pm. The Guild Looks Forward is the Theme.
The Neighbourly will meet on Wednesday 18 October at 2.15pm in the Small Hall. Mrs Janice Ross is going to talk about “Voices Galore”. All welcome

Harvest: The Foodbank picked up the harvest donations on Sunday and Lorna Morrison delivered them to the Lodging House Mission on Monday. Both organisations were thrilled with the donations and asked that their thanks be passed on to the congregation.
Poppy Project Update: If you would like to paint a poppy for the project you can come along after the service on Sunday 22 October in the Small Hall until 12.30pm. Thank you to everyone who has helped so far collecting and cutting bottles and knitting poppies too. The response has been great from the organisations that are connected to Cambuslang Parish Church to paint poppies.
The vision to have the outside of the church decorated for Remembrance Sunday will happen thanks to everyone’s help.
Christmas Cards: do you want to buy your Christmas cards & help the organisation? Lodging House Mission cards are for sale now. Pick up a brochure in the welcome area. If you phone them with your order & arrange for them to be picked up, you will save the delivery charge. Karen will be doing this at the beginning of November, she can get your cards.
