THE NEIGHBOURLY SUMMER OUTING

The Neighbourly plus several friends from the congregation set off on our outing on 19th June. The weather was more mixed Scottish summer than the glorious heatwave of the Guild day out, but it was mostly dry. After a stop at Antartex Village for some retail therapy and refreshments, we headed for Inveraray, through beautiful countryside. We had some time there to visit the local shops and have a walk around before making for the Cruin Hotel on Loch Lomondside for an excellent meal. We returned to Cambuslang, having enjoyed, in the words of Wallace and Gromit, a Grand Day Out.
