Our mission statement:
We are a warm and welcoming church
who seek to help all people experience and share
the love and teachings of Jesus Christ
in our worship and community involvement.
We affirm the dignity of all people
through compassion and kindness.

Our offerings help support the mission and work of our church and we are grateful to all those who give financially Sunday by Sunday. Many people give by standing order but there is also the option to give via the offering plate in the vestibule area of the church, immediately before entering or leaving the sanctuary. You can pop your offering in the plate either before or after the service. Thank you!

New Bank Account: We have a new bank account for the Church with the Cooperative Bank. All standing orders for your offering should automatically have been switched over to the new account by the Cooperative Bank. However, could you please check to ensure that your standing order is going to the new account, sort code: 08-92-99 and account number: 67543733. With the Church currently running at a deficit this would also be a good opportunity to review your offering if you have not done so recently. Similarly, this would also be a good time to set your offering up by standing order if you have not already done this. Any questions or issues please speak to our Treasurer, Colin Fell.

Many thanks from Elaine Sinfield to all who sent donations for the recent sponsored walk at Flemington Care Home. So far the residents have raised £1062 and this is not the final total. The contribution from CPC members is greatly appreciated.

Men’s Breakfast: The ‘Churches Group’ Men’s breakfast, second Saturday of each month, is at Wetherspoons on Saturday 14th November at 8.30 – 8.45am. No booking, just turn up, put your order in, pay for your own and enjoy.

Bible Blethers next meets on Wednesday 18th November at 10am in the Morriston Room. Anyone wishing to join us will be made most welcome.

Kirk Session: Elders please note that the next Kirk Session meeting will be held on Tuesday 24th November at 7.30 in the Morriston Room.

The annual Remembering Service will take place in the church on Sunday 29th November at 2pm. Our friends from Flemington Hallside are welcome to join us for this service of remembrance for family members who have passed.

December Communion: There will be a retiring collection on Sunday 6th December for Restore Glasgow. This small Glasgow based charity tackles the harm caused by human-trafficking and modern-day slavery primarily through the power of prayer. Sadly, human-trafficking exists in 1every local authority in Scotland. Please support this worthy cause.

Our Tree Festival this year will be held over the weekend of 12th/13th December, including a Coffee Morning 10-12am, and Community Carol Service at 3.30pm on the Saturday, with our church Gift Service on the Sunday morning.

A reminder to all organisations and groups wishing to enter a tree in the Festival to please let either Alison Thomson or Alec Scrimgeour know before Sunday 22nd November.
