A big Thank You to everyone who has brought gifts today, they will be donated to Barnardos 16+ and Camglen Family Support Hub.
Freewill Offering Envelopes for 2025 are available for uplifting in the vestibule. If anyone eitherrequires a set of envelopes or no longer wishes to use envelopes please contact David Black or speak to your Elder. David Black, Freewill Offering Convenor.
Cambuslang and Rutherglen Reachout Trust: The winter Xpress magazine is available on the vestibule table. Pick up a copy and read about the new staff and their 30th Birthday celebrations.
David on Leave: David Denniston is on leave until Tuesday 10th December. Any urgent pastoral matters can be referred to our Deacon, Karen Hamilton.
The Guild – Change of Date: The date for the next meeting of the Guild has been changed from the 2nd to the 9th of December. On that date we will be making decorations for the Christmas Tree Festival. This is courtesy of The Rutherglen Community Care Group. We would also welcome any ideas from our members to go with this year’s theme – ‘Fostering Community Spirit’.
Christmas Tree Festival: Don’t miss this fantastic display of decorated trees on 14th December from 10.00am till 3.30pm, followed by a service of readings and carols led by Rev. David Denniston. There will also be a Coffee Morning in the large hall from 10.00am till 12noon and we’re asking for some volunteers to help serve the goodies. If you’re able to help for just an hour please give your name to Tony Neeson, Janet Stewart or Ohna Robertson.
The ‘Churches Group’ Mens Breakfast, second Saturday of each month, is at Wetherspoons on Saturday 14th December at 8.30-8:45. No booking, just turn up, put your order in, pay for your own and enjoy. (Afterwards a wee visit to the Cambuslang Parish Tree Festival).
Cancellation – The pyjama service at Flemington Hallside church on Christmas Eve has unfortunately been cancelled. You can still put on your pyjamas & sing carols at home!
