Christians for Palestine, Scotland are walking from Glasgow to Edinburgh along the canals from Fri 1st to Sun 3rd November to raise funds for the Amos Trust’s emergency appeal.  You are welcome to join in person, in prayer, or to support our fundraiser. The Guild:  On Monday 4th November we are heading to Garrion Bridge for the afternoon.  The bus will leave the Church at 12.30. p.m. On the return journey we will depart from Garrion Bridge at 3.30. p.m.

The Neighbourly will meet on Wednesday 6th November at 2.15 pm in the Small Hall. The speaker will be Mrs Irene Craigie. All welcome.

The ‘Churches Group’ Mens breakfast, second Saturday of each month, is at Wetherspoons on Saturday 09th Nov at 8.30-8:45. No booking, just turn up, put your order in, pay for your own and enjoy.

Remembrance Service: Sunday 10th November 2024 – Poppies and wooden crosses will be available today in the welcome area for a donation to Poppy Scotland. They will also be available on 10th November.

Remembering Service:  A special service will take place on Sunday 24th November 2024 at 3pm in Cambuslang Parish Church, 1 Arnott Way, Cambuslang.  The Remembering Service is for those from our community and beyond who have experienced the loss of a loved one, whether it was recently or many years ago. The service is being organised jointly by Cambuslang Parish Church and Flemington Hallside Church.  Rev. David Denniston, Rev. Ian Cathcart and Deacon Karen Hamilton will be involved in the service. Please feel free to invite as many family members and friends to come along with you. We look forward to seeing you on the day. A cup of tea/coffee will be available after the service.

December Communion Retiring Collection – Kirk Session have decided that this will go to the DEC Middle East Appeal a very worthwhile cause.

ITS PANTO TIME – oh yes, it is!!!!! Theatre South Productions present “Sleeping Beauty – a family pantomime: Tuesday 3rd December to Friday 6th December at 7pm, and on Saturday there are three performances – at 11am is a ASN friendly performance. There is a matinee at 2:30pm and evening performance at 7:30pm. Tickets are available NOW via www.Seaty.co.uk/tspsleepingbeauty

It is proposed to commence a Bible study group early in the new year. Initially we will explore some of the work of C.S. Lewis. Anyone interested in this venture, which promises to be both rewarding and fun, should add their name and preferred time (daytime or evening) to the list in the welcome area.
