Sunday Club for children aged 3 years old to Primary 7 meets in our halls following the Children’s Time – all children welcome! If you have younger children, feel free to stay in church with them, but if you need to leave, the Welcome Area at the main door is available.
Thank You: Cambuslang Parish Church ended up giving Easter eggs to two projects this year. An Elder donated 60 eggs for our Meet & 2 Veg project. So the other 70+ given by you went to Lodging House Mission. Thank You for your generosity, as always.
Walking Group: Our next walk is on Saturday 6 April. The destination is the Loch Ard Forrest, near Aberfoyle. On this occasion there will be a choice of walks, the ‘long walk’ is 8.5 miles on good forest trails. The ‘shorter walk’ will not be more than 7 miles, again on good forest trails, the final decision on the length of the walk will depend on the weather on the day. Those who are interested in joining us for this walk should meet outside the Church at 8.30am. Travel will be in shared cars.
The Southside Showcase – Join us for a song at our spring fundraising concert on Monday 15 April at 8pm in the Church Hall. Tickets £5. Proceeds go to Scottish Action for Mental Health.
Plant Sale and Coffee Morning: The Fundraising Committee are delighted to announce that our Plant Sale and Coffee Morning will be on Saturday 11 May from 10am onward.
We are looking for waiters and waitresses. Can you spare an hour of your time between 9am and 1pm to assist with the Coffee Morning? If so, please speak to one of our team: Ohna Robertson, Janet Stewart, Tony Neeson.
The ladies who organise the Coffee Morning will be very grateful!
Halls Convenor: please send any enquiries about hall bookings etc to our Halls Convenor Derek Burns. Email:moc.liamgnull@cpcsnrubkered
Katharina Nimmo will be delighted to receive your announcements by Tuesday at 6pm for inclusion in the Order of Service.
The Prayer Tree is situated inside the main door entrance, for anyone in the church and community who wishes to add a prayer to it. You can write your prayer on one of the supplied labels, and either put it on the tree or into the prayer box. The ministry team will look at the prayers regularly and pray for you.
‘Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you.’ (Jeremiah 29.12).
