Sunday Club for children aged 3 years old to Primary 7 meets in our halls following the Children’s Time – all children welcome! If you have younger children, feel free to stay in church with them, but if you need to leave, the Welcome Area at the main door is available.
Summer Service 2023 – Lost Property
In the office there are a set of wooden oars and 2 lifejackets. Unfortunately, we have no idea who donated them. If they belong to you, can you please arrange to collect them sometime soon. Thanks for loaning them for the summer services last year.
The Neighbourly will meet on Wednesday 28 February at 2.15pm in the Small Hall. The guest speaker is Mrs Lesley McIlhagger. All welcome.
Lenten study: We are holding a series of bible studies during lent based on Christian Aid’s “Act on Poverty” studies. They are held at the Church on Thursdays at 3.30pm. Please come along and join us. For more information if required please contact Jan Ritchie – 0141 641 2018.
World Day of Prayer: Friday 1 March, 2pm in the Rutherglen United Reformed Church, 69 Johnston Drive G73 2QA. Written by Christian women of Palestine. All welcome.
Walking Group: Our next walk is scheduled for Saturday 2 March. The destination for this walk is Lamington and there will be a choice of two circular walks. The ‘high level’ walk takes in Lamington Hill and Turkey Hill, the ‘low level’ walk is to Cowgill Reservoir. Both walks are around 7 miles. Those interested in going should meet at 9.30am outside the Church, travel will be in shared cars.
Easter code: That time of year when I’m looking for helpers: We need 2 people on Monday 4 March, someone to help at a station & someone to help with juice. On Thursday 21 March we need 1 person to help with the snacks for West Coats Primary. For more information please speak to Karen Hamilton.
Energy Boost – Easter Resources. Thursday 29th February 7pm at Presbytery Offices, 260 Bath Street, Glasgow. How can we share the easter message with children, families and young people in our congregation? For booking details see poster on notice board.
