Dear friends.
Although we are now some 3 weeks into 2024, I send my very best wishes to you all for a blessed New Year. May you know the closeness of our Lord Jesus Christ. In addition, I want to bring you up to date with a couple of matters. First of all, I am sad to report that your minister, Peter Nimmo, has tendered a further fit note, which stretches to 16 April 2024. Please do continue to pray for Peter, and for his wife, Katharina, in this challenging period. As a result, the Elders have agreed to seek the services of a Locum Minister. This will hopefully provide continuity on Sundays, as well as additional pastoral support for the congregation and parish to that already offered by Karen Hamilton, DCS. I will remain as your Interim Moderator for the foreseeable future. As before, let me emphasise that I am always open to hear from you via telephone or email of any questions or concerns you may have.
Yours in Christ’s service.
Derek W. Hughes
