Christmas Carol Singalong Coffee Morning & Christmas Tree Festival Saturday 10th December, 10 am-12 noon (coffee morning) and into the afternoon (Christmas Tree Festival). You don’t have to be a good singer, you only have to put on your happy face and enjoy singing traditional Christmas carols and songs between cups of coffee or tea and freshly baked pancakes, toasted fruit bread and warm mince pies. In the Sanctuary, you can visit the beautiful Christmas Trees decorated by pupils from the local primary schools and members of our church organisations. We would absolutely love it to see as many people as possible join with us to get Christmas off to a great start. No tickets, but we would be grateful for a small donation which will go to Church and Pastoral Care Team funds.
The Country Dance Club is taking place on Thursday evenings in the Kirkhill Halls on Cairns Rd at 7.30pm. A warm welcome to all.
The Prayer Tree is situated inside the main door entrance, for anyone in the church and community who wishes to add a prayer to it. ‘Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you.’ Jeremiah 29 v12

My God’s the king of the giants
My God’s the king of the lions
My God’s the king of the creatures of the deep
My God’s the king of me
Have you heard the story about my friend King Dave
Wouldn’t let the giant stand in his way
He said hand me my sling cos he’s not that tall
My God is bigger, and I’ll watch him fall
My God’s the king of the giants
My God’s the king of the lions
My God’s the king of the creatures of the deep
My God’s the king of me
Have you heard the one about this guy called Dan
Yes, he was a mighty holy praying man
They said throw him to the den of the scary beasts
But God saved our hero from the lion’s teeth
My God’s the king of the giants
My God’s the king of the lions
My God’s the king of the creatures of the deep
My God’s the king of me
This is more than history
He will do the same for me
Like Jonah and the whale at sea
When I’m lost and afraid all alone in the dark
You’re with me
Oh, You’re with me
My God’s the king of the giants
My God’s the king of the lions
My God’s the king of the creatures of the deep
My God’s the king of me
My God’s the king of the giants
My God’s the king of the lions
My God’s the king of the creatures of the deep
My God’s the king of me
My God’s the king of me
