I can’t believe that the summer has gone. The young ones have received their exam results and have either moved up a year or gone to college or university. The little ones have started nursery and school for the first time or moved up to a new class. All in all it’s a busy time for everyone. You will see from the fellowship team report that they have been busy during the summer planning activities for the church family and I’m sure that the leaders of all the organisations in our church family will also have planned exciting syllabus and activities for all members.
I would just like to highlight the pantomime. We have booked the whole of the theatre for the Saturday matinee and we have to confirm our final numbers to the theatre at the end of September. If you have not already added your name to the list please see Graham McGregor or Susan Young after the service or email the editor.
The Harvest Thanksgiving service will be on Sunday 6th October and I have included details of suitable donations for the Lodging House Mission on the facing page. This will also be the dedication service and all our Uniformed organisations and church groups will be present at this service. I hope that you will be able to support us in whatever way you can.
