Sunday Club: Children age 3 and up are invited to join us in the halls following the Children’s Time or are welcome to stay in church during the service. We also have a crèche room available.

The Guild will resume on the 7th of October. We will meet every fortnight, in the Large Hall at Cambuslang Parish Church from 2 – 4pm. At our first meeting we will be entertained by Piggery Brae. Throughout the Session we enjoy hearing interesting speakers with subjects ranging from frivolous to more serious matters. We also have several events planned. The Guild is open to both men and women. Anyone wishing to join us will be made most welcome.
The Neighbourly will meet on Wednesday 9th October at 2.15 pm in the Small Hall. The speaker will be Rev David Denniston. All welcome.
The ‘Churches Group’ Men’s breakfast, second Saturday of each month, is at Wetherspoons on Saturday 12th October at 8.30-8:45. No booking, just turn up, put your order in, pay for your own and enjoy.
Karen Holidays: I will be on holiday from the 12th of October until 26th October inclusive. I will be back on Sunday the 27th, if I have remembered to put my clock back. ????
C&R Reachout Trust: are having a big birthday celebration as it’s turning 30 this year on Saturday 26th October, starting with our AGM at 11am followed by lunch at 12.30, then a celebration of the last 30 years followed by the commissioning for Laura and Shona and prayer for the team as we set out to serve God in Cambuslang and Rutherglen. We would love as many people as possible to join us for this. As part of this event, we are gathering memories and photographs from Reachout events over the last 30 years. Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) Knitting in August Challenge. Lorna Morrison would like to thank everyone in our church family who sponsored her for this challenge. The final amount raised was £960. Gift aid will add £138.75 making a total of £1098.75 for CHAS.
ITS PANTO TIME – oh yes, it is!!!!! Theatre South Productions present “Sleeping Beauty – a family pantomime: Tuesday 3rd December to Friday 6th December at 7pm, and on Saturday there are three performances – at 11am is a ASN friendly performance. Christmas Tree Festival: A date for your diary – the Christmas Tree Festival will take place this year on Saturday 14 December 2024. Church organisations, community groups and local schools will be invited to enter a tree and there will also be the opportunity for groups to run a stall selling crafts etc. Tea/coffee and mince pies will be available throughout the day.
