Summer Sunday Services will have a Music Festival theme 30/6 to 4/8 inclusive. The services will be ‘all age’ and slightly shorter than usual. Please come along and join in worship.
21st July – ‘Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual Songs’
28th July – ‘Praise and Lament’
4th August – ‘Songs of Praise’ – forms will be available soon for you to let your favourite hymn be known. This will be followed by a Church Family picnic in the church grounds or halls if it is a rainy day. Bring your picnic with you.
Karen Hamilton our Deacon will be on holiday from Sunday 21st July to Saturday 3rd August inclusive.
Sunday Club: We will stay in church throughout the Summer for our all-age themed services as the Sunday club leaders take a rest. Everybody is always welcomed to our Worship.
Fellowship Tea Rota: members of the rota should have received their dates for the next 6 months by email. A few paper copies are also available in the kitchen. Thank you to all those who help serve the Fellowship Teas on a Sunday.
Foodbank: A big thank you to everyone who supports the Foodbank by donating. The items most needed this month are: tinned vegetables, UHT milk, tinned meat, tinned fruit, tinned soup and tinned tomatoes.
The Swinging Sixties: Afternoon Tea at Burnside Blairbeth Tuesday 30th July see poster on notice board for details. Retiring offering for Stonelaw Dementia Group.
Walking Group: The next evening walk will take place on Tuesday 16th July. The walk is a pleasant ‘flat’ walk of 2 – 3 Miles we will be using part of the Clyde Walkway and also exploring the various paths of the Cuningar Loop. Anyone interested in joining us for this walk should meet outside the Church at 6:30 pm. Travel will be in shared cars.
Rutherglen & Cambuslang Foodbank Trustees are currently looking to employ a FOODBANK MANAGER for the Rutherglen and Cambuslang Foodbank. Anyone requiring details about this please see the notice board.
