Another date for May: Afternoon tea for Christian Aid on Saturday 18 May at 2-4pm. This is a great opportunity to meet up with friends and make new ones while supporting a very worthwhile cause. This year Christian Aid is concentrating on ‘Act on Poverty’ Put the date in your diary.

Girls’ Brigade: The annual Girls’ Brigade parents night will take place on Monday 20 May at 7 pm in the large hall.  Family and friends are all welcome.

School workshops: Karen is at General Assembly this year. Unfortunately, it means she cannot do “It’s your move” & buddy training on 23 May. We need 1 person for “It’s your move” (P7s transitioning) in the morning & 2 or 3 folk for buddy training in the afternoon.  Can you do both parts or just either the morning or afternoon session? Please speak to Karen.

Holiday Club: It is being held on 6 & 7 August in Cambuslang Parish church . Can you help with a group or make the sandwiches for lunch. This is very popular club so be you a teenager or “slightly older” ???? we need your help.
If you are not disclosed or want further information about HC please speak to Karen or Susan.

Order of service: It would be great if someone was able to take over collating the announcements for the order of service. If you’re able to help, please get in touch with Katharina or Linda.

The Prayer Tree is situated inside the main door entrance, for anyone in the church and community who wishes to add a prayer to it. You can write your prayer on one of the supplied labels, and either put it on the tree or into the prayer box. The ministry team will look at the prayers regularly and pray for you. ‘Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you.’ (Jeremiah 29.12).
