Sunday Club for children aged 3 years old to Primary 7 meets in our halls following the Children’s Time – all children welcome! If you have younger children, feel free to stay in church with them, but if you need to leave, the Welcome Area at the main door is available.
‘Poppy Project’ for Remembrance Sunday: Anyone who would like to paint a poppy is invited to the small hall after the service today. Come straight away or after a quick tea/coffee. We look forward to your participation.
Remembrance Sunday Retiring Collection – will this year be for Erskine. Sale of poppies will of course go to Poppy Scotland.
The Neighbourly will meet on Wednesday 25 October at 2.15pm in the Small Hall. Someone from LEAP will talk about their Handyman service. All welcome.
The Worship Team will meet on Tuesday 24 October at 7.30pm in the Morriston Room.
Christmas Fayre: The Fundraising Team has decided not to go ahead with the proposed Christmas Fayre on 18 November.
Prayer Request: Please remember in prayer Rev Muriel Pearson, who has just returned from Israel. Many of you will remember that Muriel is the sister of Libby Milton, Rev Leslie Milton’s wife. Remember Muriel on her return and all those in the Middle East at this very difficult time. An email from Muriel (sent via Presbytery) is on the notice board in the welcoming area.
The Remembering Banner: If you wish to have a ribbon included on the Remembering Banner for a loved one, ribbons will be available after the service from next week until the end of November from Linda Neeson.
Christmas Cards: do you want to buy your Christmas cards & help the organisation? Lodging House Mission cards are for sale now. Pick up a brochure in the welcome area. If you phone them with your order & arrange for them to be picked up, you will save the delivery charge. Karen can get your cards at the beginning of November.
