Turkey and Syria Earthquake Appeal: Thank you if you have already donated to the Christian Aid emergency appeal for the areas affected by the devastating earthquake. If you haven’t already given to support Christian Aid’s urgent humanitarian work, you can do so at https://www.christianaid.org.uk/appeals/emergencies/turkey-and-syria-earthquake-appeal This link is also on our Facebook page.

You can also give as you leave the church today. There are separate bowls for Christian Aid and your normal Sunday offering. There are also bowls in the main foyer, and in the hall when you go for coffee.

The Guild this Monday afternoon looks forward to “Fashions by Taylor”. This event has been popular over a number of years. It is a good chance to bag a bargain as well as enjoying some Cake & Fizz / Tea / Coffee / Soft Drinks. A donation would be welcome on entry. All welcome.

Kirk Session will meet this Tuesday 21 February at 7.30pm at the Church. For more information, please contact the Session Clerk, Scott Hamilton.

The Neighbourly will meet in the Small Hall on Wednesday 22nd February at 2.15 pm for a talk by Mrs Lesley McIlhaggar. All welcome.

February Holiday Club: A big thank you to everyone who helped with the Holiday Club or supported it in any way. The kids had a great day.

Final chance to buy a ticket for the FISH SUPPER AND QUIZ NIGHT.  The last few remaining tickets for this event on Saturday 25 February, 7.30 pm will be on sale in the Welcome Area after the service today – don’t miss out!

Building Worship Teams A great opportunity to build the confidence and ability to plan and lead worship together in a way which works for you and your community, a course led by Iain McLarty, the Priority Areas Worship Development Worker, and Jo Love of the Wild Goose Resource Group. Dates: 10:30-15:30 on Saturday 25th February, Saturday 29 April, Saturday 16 September and Saturday 4 November, venue: Maryhill Ruchill Parish Church. Boys’ Brigade Quiz Night: The Senior Section of our Company will be holding a quiz night in the church halls on Thursday 2 March, 8-9.30 pm. Entrance fee is £2 per person with a maximum of 4 people in a team. Teas and coffees will be served and the company tuck shop will be open on the night. All funds raised will be donated to Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.So, save the date, grab some friends, get studying and get ready for a fun quiz night, all for a good cause. World Day of Prayer: This year’s service is in Rutherglen West & Wardlawhill Church, Western Avenue on Friday 3 March at 2pm. Tea & coffee afterwards. Everyone is invited to join us in this service that has been prepared by people in Taiwan. More information from Deacon Karen Hamilton.

Reachout Prayer Breakfast on Saturday 4 March, 8.30-10 am on Zoom. We would love to see you there for prayer, fellowship and an update from Reachout. To get the Zoom meeting please contact Greg (moc.kooltuonull@trrc.gerg). Thank you for your continued prayers and support for the work of Reachout.

The Prayer Tree is situated inside the main door entrance, for anyone in the church and community who wishes to add a prayer to it. You can write your prayer on one of the supplied labels, and either put it on the tree or into the prayer box. The ministry team will look at the prayers regularly and pray for you. ‘Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you.’ (Jeremiah 29.12).
