Rutherglen and Cambuslang Foodbank
Katharina Nimmo is the manager of our local Rutherglen and Cambuslang Foodbank and some members of our congregation, and other local congregations, are volunteers. Their commitment allows families in need to access food and other essential products at a time in their lives when they are struggling. Your on-going commitment through donations of food ensures this vital service is able to continue.
Currently, the Foodbank require the following donations:
Jam
UHT Milk (full fat or semi skimmed)
Tinned fish
Tins or jars of meat
Tinned vegetables
Tinned fruit
Tinned soup
Tinned rice pudding
Tinned custard
Biscuits
Diluting juice
Coffee (small sizes)
If you can also donate large carrier bags, that would be helpful too.
Jesus said: ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
