Do Quickly What You Must Do.

The words of Jesus to his Betrayer

Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus

Matthew 26v 14-16

14 Then one of the Twelve—the one called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests 15 and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver. 16 From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.

The words of Jesus to his betrayer:
do quickly what you must do.

Words for us today for the Christ who came
to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to heal the hurting, to free the prisoner, and to remove the bonds of oppression urges us to be about his business.

Not the business of betrayal but the work of speaking up and of living out good news for all.

And the business of continuing the revolution
that Jesus began.

Do quickly what you must do.
