Praise is rising,

eyes are turning to you,

hearts are yearning for you,

we long for you

‘Cause when we see you

we find strength to face the day

In your presence

all our fears are washed away,

washed away

Hosanna, Hosanna

You are the God who saves us

Worthy of all our praises

Hosanna, Hosanna

Come have your way among us

Our mission statement:

We are a warm and welcoming church

who seek to help all people experience and share

the love and teachings of Jesus Christ

in our worship and community involvement.

We affirm the dignity of all people

through compassion and kindness.

Our offerings help support the mission and work of our church and we are grateful to all those who give financially Sunday by Sunday. Many people give by standing order but there is also the option to give via the offering plate in the vestibule area of the church, immediately before entering or leaving the sanctuary. You can pop your offering in the plate either before or after the service. Thank you!

The Guild:  Our Daffodil Tea will be held on the 30th of March at 2pm. Lawrence Dunn will entertain us with some tunes on the Fiddle while we enjoy our Afternoon Tea. Tickets are now on sale priced £6. All are welcome to come along and join with us for the afternoon.

March Congregational Newsletter: A congregational newsletter has been published and is now available. Members and friends of Cambuslang Parish Church for whom we have email addresses should have received this by email (remember to check your spam folder in case it went there instead of inbox). Print copies are also available. If you would prefer a print copy, do not receive emails, or wish to take copies for friends you will find printed copies of the Newsletter available in the Welcome Area. Do take as many as you can use! (Please note that the content of the email and print versions of the newsletter is identical). District elders and pastoral visitors are encouraged to take copies to distribute to those they visit.

Hedley Connell: Hedley’s funeral will be held on Wednesday 1st April at 1pm in the church, followed by 2pm at South Lanarkshire Crematorium.

Walking Group: The next walk will take place on Saturday 4th April. This is a circular walk starting from Kinlochard. There is a choice of two walks, one is 7.8 miles and the other has an extra bit and is 10.4 miles. This an undulating walk on good forest trails, lunch will be at Stronmacnair which is the site of two ruined cottages and is an old favourite of the Walking Group. Those interested in going should meet outside the Church at 8:30, travel is in shared cars.

Christian Aid Week will take place between the 10th and 16th May. Envelopes will be placed in the pews for donations for the work of Christian Aid.
