Our mission statement:

We are a warm and welcoming church

who seek to help all people experience and share

the love and teachings of Jesus Christ

in our worship and community involvement.

We affirm the dignity of all people

through compassion and kindness.

Our offerings help support the mission and work of our church and we are grateful to all those who give financially Sunday by Sunday. Many people give by standing order but there is also the option to give via the offering plate in the vestibule area of the church, immediately before entering or leaving the sanctuary. You can pop your offering in the plate either before or after the service. Thank you!

In the Welcome Area today, there are surplus items available from the former Church Lunch Club. Please take whatever you can make use of, and the remainder will be taken to the ‘Starter Packs’ charity in Glasgow.

Update on the feasibility study into the removal of the pews:

Since the presentation made to the congregation in July, the model of the church detailing the changes which are being considered has been displayed in the Welcome Area, with further details and images being shown on the tv monitor. Comments and suggestions were invited, and we have received a number, all of which have been positive. The team has also met with the Presbytery Buildings Officer and with a heating consultant over the past few weeks. A further presentation will be made to the congregation shortly detailing an updated version of the proposed changes, in light of the suggestions/ advice received. The feasibility study will be finalised and presented to the Kirk Session for consideration at its January meeting.

Bible Blethers: Our next meeting is on Wednesday, 29th October at 10am in the Morriston Room. We shall explore Session 4 from the course book “Finding a Voice.” All are welcome.

Walking Group:  Our Annual Mystery walk will take place on Saturday 1st November. The walk is fairly flat however it may be a bit muddy in places, it is approximately 4/4.5 miles long and should take around 2 /2.5 hours. As we will be back by lunchtime there is no need to bring a packed lunch. Those interested in going on this walk should meet at the church at 9:00 am, travel will be in shared cars.

Coffee Morning & Chatty Space at Cambuslang Parish Church

Come along for a relaxed Coffee Morning and Chatty Space at Cambuslang Parish Church. Enjoy a warm cuppa, delicious refreshments, and friendly company — everyone is welcome! This is an important event within our Interim Ministry period, and this particular Chatty Space will provide you with an opportunity to share your thoughts on communication matters within our church family and beyond.

Hilary would love to hear your ideas on how we can keep everyone better connected and informed.
