We are a warm and welcoming church

who seek to help all people experience and share

the love and teachings of Jesus Christ

in our worship and community involvement.

We affirm the dignity of all people

through compassion and kindness.

The £10/£20 Challenge has now been wound up. If you still have proceeds from your endeavours, please pass these on to Tony Neeson, Ohna Robertson, Janet Stewart, Bob McDougall or Alison Thomson. Alternatively, if you received money from the church but have not managed to use this towards a fundraising activity, please return that money. Thank you.

Church Office will be closed for the next 2 Thursdays, 2nd & 9th October.  Alison Thomson is once again printing the order of service.

Karen, our Deacon, will be on holiday from 6th – 19th October inclusive.

The Guild: The new session will begin on the 6th of October on a bright note with music from Short and Sweet (Stewart and Carol Moir). Thereafter we have put together a syllabus which should provide something of interest for everyone. We hope to welcome back established members, new members and visitors to this and any of our meetings.

The Thanksgiving Service for Mrs Roberta Willamson will take place in the Church on Friday 10th October at 2pm. Please note there will be a private cremation [family members only], on Thursday 9th October.

The ‘Churches Group’ Mens Breakfast, second Saturday of each month, is at Wetherspoons on Saturday 11th Oct at 8.30-8:45. No booking, just turn up, put your order in, pay for your own and enjoy the company.

Thank you from Rachel [McDougall] – the financial donations and items for the tombola and bake sale provided by the church family, helped raise £1516.15 for Jak’s Den. Jak’s Den provides support for families who have children going through treatment for cancer and also for parents who have lost a child to cancer.

Missing DVD Player – A DVD player, belonging to a member of the congregation seems to have gone missing.  It was previously with the television that’s used for various activities & kept down near the halls.  Any ideas, let the church office know.  Thanks.

Foodbank: A big thank you to everyone who supports the Foodbank by donating. The items most needed this month are: UHT Milk, Sugar, Spaghetti Hoops, Macaroni Cheese, Beans & Sausage, Rice Pudding, Instant Noodles/Pasta, Coffee, Tinned Meat, Shampoo, Toothpaste & Toothbrushes.
