A message from our Minister:
We are pleased to announce, with the further easing of COVID restrictions, we are no longer required to maintain a ticketing system for coming to our church services. Going forward, all you will need to do is to give your name as you arrive at the door of the church.
This is a fantastic change and we are thankful that it enables anyone who wishes to come to church to do so on a Sunday morning.
Additionally, social distancing has been reduced to 1 metre- which, in practice, means that you can choose sit where you like.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday – but, unexpectedly, there are a couple of changes to the service that will remain:
- 1) The offering plate will be placed at the entrance of the church. We would kindly ask you to make your offering before the service, so it can be brought to the chancel at an appropriate part of the service.
- 2) For now, we still need to have face masks on while in the building (if you’re not exempt for medical reasons).
- 3) If you are singing you must be wearing a mask (even if you are exempt).
We also ask everyone to keep using appropriate hand sanitisers as you arrive and leave – which is always good practice everywhere!
Tea and coffee after the service will resume in good time – after we have been able to appropriately check & santise the kitchen spaces and equipment (they have been out of use for 15 months!).
I’d like to encourage you to join us on a Sunday if you haven’t been back since lockdown. Of course, we will continue to live stream, for the benefit of those unable to attend in person.
I hope to see you on a Sunday very soon!
Please note: services will still be available to watch via Facebook. They are also available on CamGlen Radio 107.9FM at 3pm each Sunday; and the Dial-A-Service phone line: 0141 815 1901
